This was a wonderful book. A real find for me and I am delighted to review it for Ms. Anderson. The story is absolutely creative and unique. She has penned twists and turns into the story which were exciting. The ending really could have gone a variety of ways. The characters were very interesting and Ms. Anderson could easily have a sequel from this book. Each of the characters was richly developed and nothing was a waste or add on. The thing I LOVED most about this story is that it was clean. I am not sure why it is almost impossible to find books that are clean but clearly the market wants these other types of books. That publishers think that graphic sex is needed to have a book be worthy as a best seller is utter nonsense. This book serves a clear example of this fact. I wish there was a place to go to find clean contemporary but I have not seen this. Anyway, if you happen upon my review please purchase this book. I loved the author's other book, Fair Catch, so I purchased this as soon as it came out.

This was a fun book. Very clean but with plenty of excitement. I loved all of the twists and turns which lead to a fun, dreamy ending.

The characters come to life!

This was one of those books I just couldn't put down. The plot and the characters were so compelling I lost sleep two nights in a row reading until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. It had many unique elements to it that made it a refreshing change from the usual, such as the setting, the characters' unique back-stories, and the unique combination of conflicts. I also really liked the unique way the author brought her characters to resolution. Instead of a typical quick and easy route, this resolution felt more authentic and interesting. Definitely an author I want to read again.
This book is a fun clean read...I enjoy how Cindy can access all different emotions in her writing going from sad...mad...to glad ) I would recommend this to anyone wanting a clean fun romance)
I picked up this cute little novel because of the Costa Rican setting. Sadly, there was no real references to the actual country, the characters could have been in any rain forest anywhere in Central or South America. All descriptions were vague and generic. No mention of the lovely volcanos, black sand beaches, terraced coffee fincas... The characters were trite, the repeated nightmare scenario unrealistic. There were passages in the book where I laughed, a little. This is a fluffy little romance, and a quick read. Sadly, so many Christian romances set up false ideals of falling in love at first sight, tingling responses to accidental touches, and physical reactions to a good looking, unbelievably good looking men, as true love. This is one of those novels. Read this and all novels like this understanding fiction is not real life, true love and a good marriage take commitment, hard work, prayer and God's blessing. With that caveat, I did enjoy this story and will promptly forget I read it. Great mindless read for an afternoon at the pool.
I just loved this story very hard to put down my kindle. A lot of excitement, lite romance, no swearing. Excellent writing by the author. Packed with thrilling excitement and never a dull moment. Dr. Kendrick worked for a hospital who signed up for a four yr. contract. Yes, Dr. Kendrick was a Peditrician who loves children and some day would like a loving husband and lots of children to fill her house. Dating a lawyer who is quite out of her league loves her and wants to become her husband. Something, bothers Sophie about Peter, she realizes that she loves Peter's family more than him. Sophie, takes a leave from the hospital and needs to find her father and hires a guide Jack and Hector. All, I will tell you is NOW THE THRILLING, FUN BEGINS. UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Get cozy with a soft blanket and ENJOY!!
Sophie Kendrick hires Jack Mathison to guide her through the jungles of Costa Rica as she searches for her missing father. The jungle held a lot of experiences for Sophie and Jack. It also held a good amount of attraction and romance. I really liked the book and enjoyed reading about their adventure. The ending was fun, and there's an epilogue. Love those!
Discovering Sophie is an entertaining, adventurous and clean novel. Anderson has a way to educate you on some of the not-so-great aspects of taking a women into a jungle and remote villages without dwelling on them and ruining the wonderful romance brewing. I loved Hector, one of the side characters with his unwavering kindness and devotion. Sophie is competent and determined while Jack is stubborn and brooding. The two make a perfect combination of entertainment and tension which only leads to a sweet romance.

Looking for a clean, entering romance, look no further then Discovering Sophie.
